Content is King!
Like any magazine or newspaper, the success of a website depends very much on the content included in its pages. All too often people involved with the Web do not realise that writing is a very big part of what the online experience is about. Instead they spend all their time and effort thinking about it’s design. Whilst this is important, it is crucial to realize that most people spend an overwhelming amount of their online time reading words on a page. The main reason they go on a website in the first place is to get information about something. It follows that quality content—well written, well edited—is essential for the success of any website. If the content isn’t there, no matter how fancy your website looks, people will not stay very long and are unlikely to come back.
