A Summary

1. Make a list of keywords or phrases that you think a potential visitor might use when searching for your group.

2. Use these keywords and phrases in the title, description and keyword section of each separate page in the web-site.

3. Also use these keywords in the content of your website, preferably in the first paragraph of body text and then repeat these keywords 2 or 3 times throughout that page.

4. Publicise your site whatever way you can.

5. Try and get your link on as many related websites as possible. See Get your site listed.

6. Submit your site to various Search Engines and Open Directories. To do this see my list of Search Engines.

If you do these things your search engine ranking are sure to improve and all that hard work in designing your site should pay off when you start getting the visitors you want.
